A little about myself…

Hi! My name is Zacc McGloughlin (yes, there are two c’s)

Originally from Banbridge, my dad used to take photos of the moon while I was growing up. He obsessed over the Apollo missions and every time there was a full moon, you could bet my dad would be outside the back with a camera. He inspired me to pick one up at the age of 16 and I’ve been shooting ever since.

I’m huge lover of analogue film photography. I frequently go out onto the streets of Belfast and shoot whatever is happening that day on 35mm film. Its a passion of mine and has been a huge inspiration for my photographic style.

I am a vocalist/saxophonist in the band “Anna’s Number” and have performed throughout Ireland and the UK. The creative and energetic side of the music I perform has been a foundation in my life that brings me immense joy. Its how I wind down, how I process how I am feeling, how I work through ideas. My love for photography and music has been a beautiful pairing in my life and I’m grateful for it.

Im married to my wonderful wife, Caitlin who is the rock of my life and keeps me together.

Ive been working professionally in the wedding business for over 10 years and every wedding I attend, I find something new to appreciate. Whether it be overhearing stories that guests share, the quiet moments between newly weds or the frequent acts of kindness that weddings thrive on. I love weddings and more importantly, I love the people at them.

Taurus Littrow, what does it mean?

In the December of 1972, Apollo 17 descended upon the lunar valley of “Taurus-Littrow,” making it the final crewed mission of the Apollo program.

My dad is the reason why I got into photography and he loves the moon. The name is for him.
